I've always wanted to learn to type using the Dvorak layout, but it was not only hard to learn but remapped too many non-letter keys on the keyboard. Looks like colemak might be a better alternative. Anyone here use (or considering using) alternative keyboard layouts?

Nah, sticking to Qwerty. having enough issues switching from Canada Multi-langual (at home), French and US (at work) when touch typing.

None! I've got a tab open with the Colemak layout, but haven't really had time to buckle down and learn it. The first few weeks are the hardest and I just don't need colemak as much as I need a few weeks of being able to type, right now. It's on the to-do list.
