So does that mean this is a legendary thread about anime and manga thread?

    I wish.

At best it's an anime and manga thread that just happened to start out with someone else's legendary poast.

It can only go downhill from here, unfortunately.

    Errrrr... I'm nauseated.

Please tell me this is a joke.

It's nauseating, sure, but I still think it earned roffles for its gross inaccuracies.

Anyway, watching Whisper of the Heart.

    ...Don't you judge me.

That image bears a striking resemblance to Howl's Moving Castle. Except the catman.

You know, I can't think of a Studio Ghibli film that doesn't look like it was made by Studio Ghibli.

Then again, I've never seen Porco Rosso.

This randomly came up when I was on YouTube.

    The song made me wince.

Will it make you wince, too?

Currently on the third episode of Higurashi No Naku Koro ni Kai.

I wonder why I do this to myself. I really do.

Attached is animooted and case in point.

/a/ got me all interested in this manga called Otaku no Musume-san.
Kanau Yukimura is nine years old, she's meeting her father for the first time. However, he turns out to be an otaku! The two of them start living together in the same apartment, next to a lot of interesting neighbors. Unsurprisingly, things don't always go smoothly for these two...

You know, with books like this, Genshiken and Lucky Star it makes me wonder why there aren't more Western comics centered around nerd-culture.

Just watched episode 20 of Higurashi Kai.

Not the point, I know, but I kinda miss the random "someone goes crazy and kills everyone" question and answer arcs.

I also watched the second and third Potemayo specials yesterday. They were made of d'aww.

Currently reading Rosario+Vampire since the anime has showed up on the torrents.

After watching the show I thought I was better off just reading it.

Just started the second volume. A really quick read.

I don't remember how far I got on that. I read up to what had been scanlated at the time and forgot to keep checking for it.

After watching the opening of Moyashimon, I kinda wish it was live action instead.

    What's it about?

Speaking of anime, I've been meaning to finish last season's anime and watch the first episodes of this season's anime, but I've been too busy playing Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and going to school.

Moyashimon's about this agricultural student who can see and communicate with bacteria and microbes. Only to him they appear as these big and cute critters.

Kind of like those disease plushies you may have seen.
