Frou Frou - It's Good To Be In Love

I love this kind of cute electronica pop shit way too much. I don't care, Imogen Heap is awesome.

She also has the best hair ever, by far.

Iron & Wine - Faded From The Winter

Too tired / lazy to get a pic. Imagine some really scruffy looking mountain men with big beards playing acoustic music.

    John Frusciante - Loss

For those who don't know, he's the guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's remarkable how much better he is as a solo artist (not saying he's not good in RHCP, most of the time he saves the songs). Out of the six or so albums he made in a year's time, I'm listening to my favorite, The Will To Death.

His music is basically twofold: the older stuff when he was a huge drug addict and was basically making music to sell for drug money (one of these albums is Smile From the Streets You Hold... if you ever see this for sale used, it's worth a lot. Although it's great, for some reason Frusciante suddenly felt bad about releasing music to buy drugs with and called them all back). This early solo music is basically acoustic guitar featuring tuneless singing of unintelligable lyrics (one of the best songs from his first album Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt is Your Pussy's Glued To A Building On Fire). Most people regard this as his best work (especially Niandra Lades), however I prefer his "post-rehab" releases, which happen to be the more recent stuff. It's very experimental, clearer production, and surprisingly he has a great singing voice when he tries. His lyrics are also a lot more inspired / insightful.

Anyways, sorry for the mini bio tangent. I really like this guy.
